One by One (air cooling)

  1. Inspection point before operation

    Check the following points before starting operation

    1) Check that the power to equipment has been for at least 12 hours. After make sure that it

    has already supplied a power, check at the temperature control whether indicate the

    temperature status, or not.

    2) Check to make sure that piping connection is tightly enough.

    3) Exhaust the air inside all pipes where of all the contacting point between equipment units and Molding machine.

    4) By looking a Medium Level, check that Chemical Coolant in Tank whether it is in a proper level or not.

    5) Check whether there is any water leakage at Overflow pipe or Drain pipe or not.

    ▲Warning
    A panel should be firm and settle because a part of inside machine and pipes are using a high temperature,
    if using a wrong way while panel is opening, it will be about injured and shock of electrical circuit.
    ▲CAUTION
    Do not sit or put any article on an equipment unit because it will drop or fall down that can be a cause of wound.
    Do not put any water container on the unit because the unit will be flood inside and insulator will inferior and be a cause of shock of electrical circuit.
  2. Power failure management

    In case of a unit stops because of a power failure, although the power has been returned to primary circuits, the equipment will not resume running automatically by itself.
    For restart operation, do it as starting up for the first time. Ensure check fuse, pump availability operation, Alarm check, before starting again.

  3. Periodic Inspection

    To maintain performance and ensure safety, perform periodic checks and maintenance as describe below.

    (A) Refrigerator check

    1. After switch off the electric power, open the top of cover whether tank inside dirties or not. In case of dirty, open drain valves and wash thoroughly with water or neutral detergent.(1 time a month)

    2. After switch off Breaker (power supply), measure the compressor resistance. If the resistance is 10MΩ or lower, repair is needed.(3 times a year)

    3. Turn on a power supply, SV temperature set the to be lower than PV and press “START” switch. Then, measure the electric current while the compressor is running.(3 times a year)

    (B) Pump check

    1. After switch off Breaker (power supply), measure the pump motor resistance. If the resistance is 10MΩ or lower, repair is needed. (3 times a year)

    2. Turn on Breaker (power supply) and press “Start” switch. Then, measure the pumps electric current.(3 times a year)

    3. Check that water is not leaking anywhere.(3 times a month)

    4. Check that the equipment is not making an abnormal noise.(every operating)

    (C) Operating panel electrical parts check

    Always turn off electrical power supply source before checking electrical parts.

    1. Check that the wiring terminal is security tight.(Twice a year)

    2. Check that the magnetic contactor are functioning properly(Twice a year)

    ▲Warning
    Do not use water to clean to the unit directly because It can be caused of shocked of electrical circuit or will be on fire.
    Do not run a machine while a panel is removed or un tightly condition. Besides, if there is a touching to a high temperature part, a touched part of body will be burned.

  4. Causes and Remedies of Malfunctions

    This unit’s alarm lamp will light up when a malfunction occurs, and the location of a malfunction will be indicated by one of the monitor lamps on the control panel.

    1. WA/ Medium level Low alarm

    The unit will stop, when medium level of a tank is decreased.

    Cause:
    When it is any leakage in hose or pipe.
    float less switch failure.
    Remedy:
    Supply the medium to the tank until normal level.
    Check a system of piping and hose.
    Check the float less switch.

    2. 51 P / Pump alarm

    The unit will stop, when pump motor has electric current overload.

    Cause:
    Faulty motor, Voltage drops, Single-phase operation, and Voltage imbalance.
    Remedy:
    Measure electrical voltage fluctuation, insulation resistance between wires and Pump insulation resistance. After clearing all the causes, press the reset button on the thermal relay to restore operation.

    3. TA / Medium temperature high alarm

    When temperature of the medium is high, alarm lamp lights up.

    Cause:
    Ambient temperature too hot.
    Return water too hot.
    This unit can’t cool for refrigerant cycle trouble.
    This unit has not enough capacity.
    Remedy:
    This lamp lights up at the first time running, but this is not a sign of trouble. Alarm will be canceled automatically when medium temperature become PV

    4. 51 C / Compressor alarm

    The unit will stop, when compressor motor has electric current overload.

    Cause:
    Faulty motor, Voltage drops, Single-phase operation, and Voltage imbalance.
    Remedy:
    Measure electrical voltage fluctuation, insulation resistance between wires and Compressor motor insulation resistance. After clearing all the causes, press the reset button on the thermal relay to restore operation.

    5. 26 W / Freeze alarm

    When there is an abnormality of dropping temperature of the circulate medium, the unit will stop in order to prevent the cooler from freezing over.

    Cause:
    Medium Temperature drop to 7°C or less than.
    Refrigerant cycle abnormal running.
    Circulation water clogging.
    Remedy:
    Please recheck running status of the pump, refrigerant pressure gauge.
    Operation will be restored automatically when water temperature is rising.

    6. 63 H/ Refrigerant high Pressure alarm.

    When there is an abnormality rising pressure of refrigerant gas, the unit will stop.

    Cause:
    Condenser Fin is obstructed.
    Temperature of air inhalation is too high.
    Ambient air ventilation is no good.
    Remedy:
    Cleaning a Condensing Fin. Remove the obstacle.
    Check suction & exhaust air space.

    7. 26 R / Refrigerant Low pressure alarm

    This unit will stop, when gas pressure will drop exceed to 1.5 Kg/cm2 for gas leak, blockage of the filter dryer, etc. This alarm will automatically resets when a gas pressure to 3.0 Kg/cm2

    Cause:
    A leakage of gas.
    Refrigerant cycle or Solenoid Valve failure.
    Remedy:
    Check Refrigerant pressure gauge.
    Check whether there is any gas leakage.
    If need to charge the gas, please contact to Kannetsu.

One by One (water cooling)

  1. Inspection point before operation

    Check the following points before starting operation

    5) Check whether there is any water leakage at Overflow pipe or Drain pipe or not.

    6) Check Cooling water supply to machine.

    (Water Temperature : 32℃ or less, Water Flow rate minimum: TM015:20 L/min、TM03:40 L/min 、TM05:65L/min)

    ▲Warning
    A panel should be firm and settle because a part of inside machine and pipes are using a high temperature,

    This unit can’t cool for refrigerant cycle trouble.
    This unit has not enough capacity.
    Remedy:
    This lamp lights up at the first time running, but this is not a sign of trouble. Alarm will be canceled automatically when medium temperature become PV Cleaning condenser fin by air.
    If the water temperature does not fall to the set temperature while the equipment is running. In such case, it is machine have a trouble or this machine capacity is not enough. (By consult with Kannetsu)

    4. 51 C / Compressor alarm

    The unit will stop, when compressor motor has electric current overload.

    Cause:
    Faulty motor, Voltage drops, Single-phase operation, and Voltage imbalance.
    Remedy:
    Measure electrical voltage fluctuation, insulation resistance between wires and Compressor motor insulation resistance. After clearing all the causes, press the reset button on the thermal relay to restore operation.

    5. 26 W / Freeze alarm

    When there is an abnormality of dropping temperature of the circulate medium , the unit will stop in order to prevent the cooler from freezing over.

    Cause:
    Medium Temperature drop to 7°C or less than.
    Refrigerant cycle abnormal running.
    Circulation water clogging.
    Remedy:
    Please recheck running status of the pump, refrigerant pressure gauge.
    Operation will be restored automatically when water temperature is rising.

    6. 63 H/ Refrigerant high Pressure alarm.

    When there is an abnormality rising pressure of refrigerant gas, the unit will stop.

    Cause:
    Low flow rate of cooling water, High temperature of cooling water,
    Water clogging at the Condenser. Water regulator, Refrigerant cycle is failure.
    Remedy:
    Check the Flow rate, Temperature of a cooling water.
    Check the valve of a cooling water, or another trouble.

    7. 26 R / Refrigerant Low pressure alarm

    This unit will stop, when gas pressure will drop exceed to 1.5 Kg/cm2 for gas leak, blockage of the filter dryer, etc. This alarm will automatically resets when a gas pressure to 3.0 Kg/cm2

    Cause:
    A leakage of gas.
    Refrigerant cycle or Solenoid Valve failure.
    Remedy:
    Check Refrigerant pressure gauge.
    Check whether there is any gas leakage.
    If need to charge the gas ,please contact to Kannetsu

Central System

  1. Inspection point before operation

    2) Whether the voltage of propriety is supplied with the voltmeter is confirmed.

    3) Check to make sure that piping connection is tightly enough.

    4) Exhaust the air inside all pipes where of all the contacting point between equipment units and Molding machine.

    5) By looking a Medium Level, check that Chemical Coolant in Tank whether it is in a proper level or not.

    6) Check whether there is any water leakage at Overflow pipe or Drain pipe or not.

  2. Operation condition confirmation

    Please check the following matter regularly.

  3. Causes and Remedies of Malfunctions

    This unit informs of alarm with the monitor and the buzzer when abnormality and the breakdown occur.

    A. Confirmation operation

    1) When abnormality and the breakdown occur, it is displayed as ALARM CHECK.
    Please switch to ALARM CHECK screens and confirm the content of warning.

    2) Buzzer stop and warning release

    a) Buzzer stop
    The buzzer stops when the reset switch of the control box is pushed.

    b) Alarm reset
    Even if the cause of the breakdown is removed, warning is maintained.
    Please push the reset switch

    B. Cause and remedy

    1. TANK LEVEL LOW

    The unit will stop when medium level of a tank is decreased

    Cause:
    Medium is not supplied.
    Any leakage in hose or pipe.
    Float less switch failure.
    Remedy:
    Check medium pipe and pressure.
    Check a system of piping and hose.
    Change the float less switch.

    2. WATER TEMP. HIGH ALARM

    When the water temperature of a cooling-water tank rises unusually.

    Cause:
    There is an abnormality with Condensing Unit.
    No power supply to the Condensing Unit.
    Remedy:
    Check the abnormality with Condensing Unit. Clean condenser fin by air.
    Check the power supply to Condensing Unit.
    ◇This lamp lights up at the first time running, but this is not a sign of trouble. Alarm will be canceled automatically when medium temperature become PV

    3. INVERTER ALARM

    When there is an abnormality with a inverter is occurred, it lights up.

    Cause:
    Refer to [Inverter Manual].
    Remedy:
    Refer to [Inverter Manual].

    4. 〇〇〇〇PUMP OVER LOAD

    The pump will stop, when pump motor has currency overload.

    Cause:
    Faulty motor, Voltage drops, Single-phase operation, and Voltage imbalance.
    Remedy:
    Measure electrical voltage fluctuation, insulation resistance between wires and Pump insulation resistance. After clearing all the causes, press the reset button on the thermal relay to restore operation.

    5. CONDENSING UNIT ALARM

    -1) Overload

    Cause:
    Faulty motor, Voltage drops, Single-phase operation, and Voltage imbalance.
    Remedy:
    Measure electrical voltage fluctuation, insulation resistance between wires and Compressor insulation resistance. After clearing all the causes, press the reset button on the thermal relay to restore operation.

    -2) Refrigerant High pressure

    When there is an abnormality rising pressure of refrigerant gas, a condensing unit will stop.

    Cause:
    Low flow rate of cooling water, High temperature of cooling water,
    Water clogging at the Condenser. Water regulator, Refrigerant cycle is failure.
    Remedy:
    Check the Flow rate, Temperature of a cooling water.
    Check the valve of a cooling water, or another trouble

    -3) Refrigerant Low pressure

    A condensing unit will stop, when gas pressure will drop exceed to 1.5 Kg/cm2 for gas leak, blockage of the filter dryer, etc. This alarm will automatically resets when a gas pressure to 3.0 Kg/cm2

    Cause:
    A leakage of gas.

    -4) Feed pressure alarm

    Present pressure different over 0.5kg/cm2 from the setting pressure (1 minute over).

    Cause:
    setting pressure is too high.
    Abnormality of inverter or feed pump.
    Remedy:
    Please set the set pressure to the value of propriety.
    Whether abnormality is found in the pump and the valve is confirmed.

    -5) Circulation flow alarm

    Volume of circulation water is insufficient.

    Cause:
    Abnormality of pressure switch.
    Abnormality of circulation pump.
    Remedy:
    Confirming the operation of pressure switch..
    Whether abnormality is found in the pump and the valve is confirmed.
